Acne and Adult Acne (Rosacea), what is wrong with me?

January 5th, 2010

When my friend Sid was small he used to get pimples. His brothers used to get acne pimples as well but they were lucky because their acne used to disappear quickly. He was the unlucky one because he used to get a new one almost every other day. Everyone told him that once he will reach the age of 25 they will go away, and they did but unfortunately he contracted with rosacea, i.e. adult acne.

He used to get patchy-redness and sudden flushing all the time, sometimes he had a pimple or two but his skin used to remain oily all the time. He used to wash his face every couple of hours with medicated soap but his face used to get oily very quickly.

The problem was that he didn’t even realize that he had rosacea for the first few years until his skin specialist diagnosed him with rosacea. He became self-conscious and used to avoid gatherings. He tried many different treatments and medicines antibiotics, Retin-A you name it he tried it including herbal treatments. Even used gram flour and orange peel, which his grandma prepared and forced him to used but nothing worked for him.

First I had Acne and now adult acne, what is the problem with me? The question he used to ask himself and to everyone else almost everyday for which the answer we still don’t know. He tried different creams and changed his skin specialist again and again to find the right one. But unfortunately nothing and no one could help him. This is because what causes rosacea is still unknown. It is still a mystery even for some doctors that which rosacea treatment is actually right for someone who has rosacea. It’s not that treatments do not work with rosacea, some treatments work well, but which one is the right one is a million dollar question. Until one day when his mum’s ever increasing criticism became unbearable he stopped using soap, drinking more water and he started washing his face only with warm water. In his own words the first 3 weeks were terrible for him. He could not go out, he could not face anyone. I think it was just his imagination that he looked awful but after that his face accepted water and the oiliness of his face started to decline. It took about 2 months before his face started to remain dry and he got rid of oiliness.

The flushing was still the big problem for him. Even though he promised himself that he will not used any new treatment but a sudden flare-up still made him look around for treatments. Then he discovered Jojoba Oil, which was a turning point and a true-life saver for him, that’s what he says about the oil. It took about a week before his face actually accepted the oil. The best thing was the application of Jojoba oil was simple, just warm water a drop of pure jojoba oil every morning and evening and his face redness started to decline. Nowadays he doesn’t get sudden flare-ups.

I hope that some people who are suffering from acne rosacea, if increase the use of water and use jojoba oil instead of experimenting on new medicated soaps and creams then they might help them with their rosacea problem.

Busted! 8 Home Organizing Myths Exposed

November 2nd, 2009

You can create multiple reasons to NOT get organized at home. But the truth is that the only obstacle stopping you from getting organized is you. It’s not family members, it’s not the absence of cash and it’s not a lack of home organizational know-how. Read onward to expose these myths now. With that out of the way, you can get on with organizing your life and home in ways that make you a happier, less stressed and more productive person.

MYTH #1: You have to organize your home in a day.

TRUTH: Organizing your home is a lifelong process. You devise organizational systems, you maintain those processes ongoing and you create new organizational solutions when new situations or products in your home call for it. You don’t just get organized today and stop tomorrow. It’s an ongoing task. Don’t expect or even try to get organized at home in a day or a week.

MYTH #2: You have to organize like she does.

TRUTH: Your home organization solutions must work for you—not your friends, neighbors or those clever organizers you watch on popular home organization television shows. You can certainly observe other peoples home organizing ideas. But then pick, choose and try what will work for you and your family. And do what you’re capable of doing yourself. We’re not all capable of building custom shelving in our homes (nor can we all afford to hire someone to build them); that’s why some of us happily shop for prefabricated products.

MYTH #3: You have to organize “everything” in your home and life.

TRUTH: Organizing is a solution to dilemmas in your home and life. Perhaps you’re late to work three days a week when you can’t find your keys or you get charged huge fees for paying misplaced bills late. Create organizational techniques to solve those problems which cost you money and create stress in your life. But if you like your books placed haphazardly on your bookshelves and this doesn’t cause you distress or to lose time in life, skip organizing the bookcase. Organize items or processes in your home when you know it will simplify your life, solve a problem or perhaps save you time.

MYTH #4: You can’t get organized because you lack home organizing know-how.

TRUTH: Some people do seem to have a natural tendency toward personal and home organization, but it’s a learned skill. Take notice of other people’s organizing methods in their homes and offices, read home organization books, watch home organization television shows and surf the web for home organizing ideas. Then apply some of these ideas and techniques to your situation. And if you need some hand-holding, hire a professional organizer for some consultation or to organize specific spots in your home for you.

MYTH #5: You have to organize everything in your home perfectly.

TRUTH: Perfectionism wastes time. Organizing saves time. These two concepts clash. Sure if you’re buying something like bins or totes, you want some stylish ones that match your home decor and fill the function for which they’re intended. But don’t go overboard in trying to find the perfect organizational helpers for your home. At some point say this product or this organizational system should work and that’s it. Your home doesn’t have to look like a photo shoot page out of a home decor magazine. Your organizational system doesn’t have to be the ultimate solution to every organizing dilemma associated with that section of your home.

MYTH #6: If your organizational system doesn’t work, you’re an organizational failure.

TRUTH: If your new home organizing solution or process doesn’t work for you, it just doesn’t work. Don’t read more into it than that. Take the word “failure” out of your vocabulary. Just move on and try another organizational technique.

MYTH #7: You can’t have an organized home because family members won’t participate in your organizational processes.

TRUTH: Maybe they will, maybe they won’t. But that’s no reason for you to not organize items and streamline processes that will help you find things, save time and decrease stress in YOUR life. Quit worrying about organizing other people and organize areas in your home and your life that will help you first. Later, you can try some tactics to get immediate family member buy-in on organizational processes in your shared home.

MYTH #8: Getting organized costs lots of money.

TRUTH: There are lots of great organizing gadgets, containers, cabinets, shelves and more on the market that can help simplify getting organized (and even make it more fun sometimes). Some home organization items are quite inexpensive. Others create a pricey, extravagant look. But lack of cash will never stand in the way of getting organized at home because it’s not a necessity to the process. You can be creative and improvise organizational processes that use helper items found in your home now. Or you can buy some ready-made home organizing accessories when you know what exact type products you need.

The choice to get organized or not to get organized is all yours and your paycheck or spending level doesn’t dictate the answer. Nor do any of the other myths busted in this article. Remember, there is only one obstacle preventing you from getting organized and that’s you. So move out of your own way if you want to get organized at home and get started organizing today.

Cute Cupid: Great Expectations Introduces Quality Singles for Meaningful Relationships

July 12th, 2009

Anyone will say I’m their own personal little Miss Matchmaker. Who would have thought? Just because setting people up is my second nature (hehe). But I fully suggest singles try joining Great Expectations. No way around it, cupid strikes without notice… but there are a few things you can do to help him along. And the first is holding Great Expectations. Expert dating services like Great Expectations Milwaukee (one of the best), meet with their singles individually, to tailor their dating recommendations. They setup promising dates among shared friends, just like I do! Wonder what makes dating services work? Well Great Expectations is about getting quality, desirable singles together — singles serious about finding a partner to build a lasting relationshis.

I have offered dating advice in my facebook group and for friends and clients. My latest post is not the usual tips. You know all that. Pay attention to conversational tone, be diplomatic, try not to be self-obsorbed, be in touch with yourself and (an often-overlooked one) steer clear of comparing qualifications on a checklist. Get to know someone in the moment! Invite a relationship if you like. Obviously, do not try to come off as a person is not you. Suppose the acquaintance grows meaningful, then you’ll be in an awkard place. Of course I’ve always recommended Great Expectations Milwaukee. So you may not be surprised that timely introductions is something I fine-tuned every day for my entire life. My great successes with singles who have come to me helped establish that reputation. My coupled-up friends are hard to ignore.

Look at Carla and Larry with their flock of little ones. I set-up them to eachother at Spanky’s Hamubrgers once upon a time, and their compatibility is hard to argue with. Fernando and Caroline also new it was a match because I introduced them at a wedding last year. And of course my sister in law Angela and her companion. It’s no secret this adorable pair will be married in New York City the first weekend of August. I love them both and they built their love through Great Expectations, on my suggestion.

Wow, I stay busy and extraordinarily resourceful as well! But all this time, as I devote myself to the art of matching up people to understand how to find real compatability, I paid little attention to my own dating situation. Is this what irony prevails when the matchmaker seeks a dating service? I’d want to meet exclusive Greatest Expectations Milwaukee singles, ’cause if one is you’re a pro makes you a perfectionist. Perhaps that’s what has kept me from really getting serious about dating. Not unlike other Milwaukee singles, I must realize that it’s tough to live life’s journey by yourself. So that’s where I’m at, setting out on a dating adventure by quality singles.

How to Pass Drug Tests

How Anyone Can Pass a Drug Test

Tips on how to pass a drug test.

Exercise

Toxins are stored in body fat for many days. It only makes sense to take in an workout curriculum, but not just any work routine. Focus in on cardiovascular work, about 30-40 minutes first thing in the morning before breakfast. This little trick will burn 300% more body fat than cardio exercise at any other time because your body is utilizing its own fat stores to fuel the work. Pass a drug test by breaking a sweat! Great, healthy workouts is a alternative to a bad thing–related to discovering abotox alternative–and should be integrated into a healthy lifestyle.

H2O Detoxify

Most detox pills, drinks, and teas incorporate herbal diuretics. Diuretics flush the body of excess (and perhaps too much) H2O, causing an electrolyte imbalance. This flushing process aids expedite as many drug metabolites from the body. H2O is in and of itself a diuretic, too! Consume about 2 gallons of purified water per day, and you’ll experience a significant diuresis. The problem one must be aware of is too much water loss can be detected by a urine drug test (the sample will come back as adulterated). The test measures pH and creatinine levels, both of which are directly tied to H2O consumption. Too much water and your creatinine drops below normal. This is why most detoxify drinks sold for passing a drug test incorporate creatine; the by-product being crseatinine upon metabolization.

Excessive dehydration (e.g. H20 loss) can be dangerous, but not as dangerous as using Hydroxycut, to put it into simple terms.

Cranberry Juice

Cranberry extract is an excellent detoxification herb as it helps in urine / kidney function. Drinking cranberry juice prior to a drug test for a couple days will assist in you passing a drug test.

Anchorage in August: Things Looking up Thanks to Great Expectations

May 21st, 2009

Now, You couldn’t describe me as terribly comfortable being picky and be 100% truthful. However, I’m not uncomfortable with the reality of life, either. I just bring it up in this blog as an ear-catching piece of info introducing what I am about to reveal to you

A week ago today yours truly met for coffee with Trisha, considering signing up for a Dallas Singles dating service. As of this minute, I stand to each of you as a delightfully single member of the matchmaking service. Seriously, and I almost don’t believe it myself! Its very comfortable and full of nice people! If you know me at all, perhaps you’re thinkin’, “You totally owe me an explanation.”

Here’s how it went down, I saw these Great Expectations Reviews and liked what I saw. They’re for the serious singles who care enough to know dating should mean something.

‘Cause I’d never been interested in whatever it is that most people have christened “The Dating Game.” I faced it more than you know. Each night they nagg, “Are you seeing somebody?” and “Oh I know just the guy for you!”

“Ugh, and double ugh.” I say to them, smiling ear to ear. “There’s nothing to date!”

“Not true,” they say. “That’s just an excuse for your cynicism.”

That’s just my friend (on a good day) (hehe) Trisha Holland. She pours the best ideas directly to my core to set me straight. People are always there to offer perspective. She made a good point, so I signed up.

Back to the meaning of this post. As I selected from thousands of outfits (hah) and desirable, honest singles for my first singles event with Great Expectations, a revelation hit me real. For years, I hadn’t entertained the greatest of literal great expectations for dating in the fun-filled journey of being alive. Being single isn’t so bad, only if you use the freedom to date. Embracing your own great expectations works terrifically on a cynics social life.

Zimmer Durom Cup Recall Is Damaging News

April 19th, 2009

Numerous patients who had durom letter used in their hip replacement operations are discovering that there are negative effects that far surpass the normal expectations for recovery. These unfortunate people are feeling a lot of uncalled-for anguish for longer time periods, looking forward to revision surgical procedures and magnified medical expenses, and losing income by not being able to work at their regular businesses. Although Zimmer Holdings, Inc. is claiming that that their implant is in no way defective and have basically denied blame for the surgical failures, numerous poor people are filing cases against them and encountering settlements.

Sometime in October, 2008 Zimmer announced that it had reserved $47.5 million to pay for lawsuits that had been filed against them. Many docs are not positive that the hip device is good to go and without problems. In fact, when Zimmer offered on-line coaching to doctors in order to teach them what they said were more correct techniques for doing the implant surgical operation, approximately half of the docs declined to participate. Thus, the whole state of affairs proceeds to be irritating for everyone participating, but none more than the hundreds of people who are expecting revision surgery due to problems with their implant experiencing looseness from the socket.

These miserable individuals definitely merit some assistance and restitution which obviously is why product liability lawyers are suggesting and telling them to file lawsuits. artificial hip has been resolving these claims before they go to court. Even So, even if the settlement they are being offered by all standards seems reasonable, in numerous cases implant recipients are deciding too quickly and without provision put in place for reoccuring issues if pain returns. Without waiting to find out what cases are actually going to be worth, people may find themselves incurring alot more expenses out of pocket when further complications return.

For anyone who thinks they probably have a claim against Zimmer needs to start peering into it. If you think you may qualify, you can telephone a lawyer to verify this info. Look for one that operates nationwide and who has a main focus on litigation against irregular medical devices. This law firm has done the extra work and setup a special section to uncover the details and take care of the claims against Zimmer and win substantial settlements for their customers.

If your orthopedic doctor lets you know that you require a revision surgery to fix your Zimmer Durom hip replacement device, call an attorney right now.

Take Back Saturday Morning with Food Home Delivery

January 4th, 2009

It’s Saturday morning and the only food in the fridge is a half-empty jar of mustard. Sound familiar?

If you can think of better ways to start your weekend than fighting traffic for a parking space and a place in the check-out line, then maybe it’s time to consider home delivery services. Imagine having every food item you’d normally buy at the supermarket brought directly to your doorstep, so that you can treat your Saturday like the day off it should be, at home watching cartoons with the kids or reading the paper over a good cup of coffee. Better yet, you could even cook brunch with all that food!

But won’t home delivery be more expensive?

Not when you subtract the price of the gas it costs you to drive across town, or the extra food you’ll buy when you get there. And don’t forget that extra trip back to the store you’ll have to make when you’ve gotten home to realize you’ve forgotten something. And what about your time - isn’t that worth something?

Instead of playing bumper-carts in a crowded grocery store or doing mental gymnastics to figure out the total price of the food in your cart, you can get all your shopping done from the comfort of your kitchen table, and at your own pace. You can double check your list just steps away from your kitchen cabinets so that you’re sure you haven’t forgotten anything. You can work your calculator in peace and quiet so that you can be sure you’re staying within your budget.

So take back your Saturday morning - get your groceries without ever stepping foot outside your kitchen with home delivery.

Baby’s First Night at Home

November 30th, 2008

We just arrived today from being released from the hospital. Our first baby, so hard but amazing to know I am finally a father and nothing I have ever done in the past has been more rewarding than this experience, what a lucky guy I am.

This is the baby’s first day here in our house, which finally feels like a home; both my wife and I feel complete.

So this is her first night, I wonder what she is thinking and how she feels in this new space, I am sure that she might be a little cold since, since the tempter in my house is not exactly 98.6 degrees, which is the temperature she is accustomed to. So I have been doing everything possible to keep her comfortable while my wife gets some rest.

Night has fallen and it’s bedtime for everyone, I am a little curious of how it’s going to go. I have cuddled her up in her beautiful pink crib and we will just have to see how it goes. After a couple of times just to check up on her, she was nothing but was perfect. We got to sleep lots. The baby almost seems to be on a routine. On the other hand I definitely feel a little left out sometimes. When I look at her, she just stares right though me, like I’m not even there. I just wish the baby connected with me, the way she connects with her mother. Sometimes, when I take the baby from her mom, she cries immediately. All it takes for the baby to be happy again is to be back in her moms arms. It so amazing. The connection that they have. You can see it. I just hope that someday, someday soon, our little girl will have that connection with me. I love this child.
