Honor Cord
After a long awaited period, the day is finally here, walking through the ground to receive the honor cord and graduation certificate. The enthusiasm cannot be held any longer after receiving the certificate for academic achievement. The cord is awarded to the student as a way to honor their academic achievement after a long struggle. The cords are made from threats that are twisted together to form a long rope and have tassels hanging in both ends that have a knot tied to as to hold the cord together or to prevent the tassel from running.

Honor cords can be worn more than two unlike the caps and gowns but can only be used for that year they are awarded. An honor when awarded to the student is worn over the shoulders. Cords can be found online and ordered early in advance before the graduation date.
